I love learning new things and drawing interesting objects, so my curiousity and enthusiasm about the world around me, and the stories people tell, is strongly reflected in my work. I especially like monsters, myths, and legends.
Much of my work is stylistically rooted in the visual research of historical sources, such as illuminated manuscripts or architecture, with further research of the subject matter leading to hidden details in my work.
My illustrations are almost entirely digital, with some scanned lines or textures sometimes used. I utilise bright colour palettes, strong central shapes and patterns to make my work bold and eye-catching.
