I studied Japanese style painting (nihonga) at an art university in Tokyo. Since then, I have been influenced by the philosophy of Nihonga and East Asian thoughts.
I make the artworks with pencil, watercolour, acrylic and Japanese traditional art materials, such as black ink on thin paper. While being flexible with my illustration style, I’m skilled at making subtle tone with pencil.
