Kimberley Hoffman

I create friendly illustrations for children and their families, historical drawings for educational and fictional purposes, search-and-find pictures for all ages and have illustrated for the reknown Springer-Gabler-Verlag in Germany. I’m a Parsons School of Design Alumna living and working in Lower Saxony, Germany.

My work on the innovative learn to draw and color book „LineLino — Auf dem Bauernhof“ was nominated for the German Design Award 2016. I also love to create how-to crafts and activity illustrations. Event portraits belong to my repertoire as well.

My portfolio encompasses various styles from whimsical to realistic to fulfill the needs of my clients. I use oil pastells, graphite and colored pencils, markers, watercolors and gouache, mixed media, as well as digital painting techniques. I am a paper-first illustrator, catching initial reative impulses and refining them in the most suited medium, interpreting my clients’ wishes into viable and exciting illustrations for successful projects.
